More Crimson DLC Difficulties

Having already been subjected to difficulties and issues upon its launch, more problems have hit the Halo 4 Crimson Map Pack, which is now inadvertently causing Xbox Live bans for players who downloaded the pack for free and started playing it, as instructed through Microsoft's "14 Day, Buy and Play" programme.

On the official Halo forums, players have been reporting being kicked from games, before discovering that their accounts had been banned, disabling some of Halo 4's online features. Microsoft has responded with the following statement:

"We are not permanently banning players for previewing or purchasing the Crimson Map Pack," it reads. "We are currently investigating the recent reports of permanent matchmaking bans. We will provide further updates tomorrow. Thank you for your patience."

With Microsoft looking into the Halo 4 Crimson Map Pack issues, normal service should hopefully soon be resumed. Hopefully.
